Josh started hunting and fishing from an early age, after seeing the Marlin swords and antlers adorning the wall of his Grandad’s big dusty workshop, hearing stories and seeing photos of his grandfather and his brothers posing with huge red stags. His grandfather stalked and shot in the endless expanse of bush that bordered their farm on the outskirts of the Urewera National Park.
They were hard working kiwi blokes and Josh could not imagine doing anything else when he was growing up. He was convinced that there was nothing better in the world than cutting down massive Totara trees to split into battens and strainers. Josh now hunts and fishes to make short films of these adventures for his job.
